PMP Learning and Development Month - Veronika

Throughout September we are celebrating our colleagues commitment to learning and development within PMP. Today we hear from Veronika, Recruitment Consultant, who shares her personal and professional learning and development story over the last 5 years with PMP.


“There are a number of ways PMP has helped me to develop. On a personal level, PMP has helped me to gain confidence to grow, go back to studying and to get a recognised qualification. We have regular PDRs where we set our objectives and what we want to achieve. Those who take full advantage of this will see themselves progress by learning about different aspects of the business. PMP management has always worked with me by giving me that much needed exposure to work outside of the office, which has boosted my confidence and added to my motivation to keep developing. 

August 2014 - July 2015: 
I started with PMP in August 2014 and over the last 5 years there are a number of ways PMP has helped me to develop and grow both personally and professionally! When I first started I was first responsible for running inductions, registrations, eligibility training and compliance. 

July 2015 - Thanks to the support and push from David Stott I passed my driving test.

August 2015 - October 2015:
I was given the opportunity to cover the branch manager role in King’s Lynn as maternity cover.

October 2015 - January 2016:
I was responsible for client service which involved looking after number of clients. I visited them regularly and took on the role of recruiting and payrolling workers.

April 2016 - January 2017:
Maternity leave.

January 2017- July 2019:
During this period I worked part time and I started to take on more training and development opportunities. I took part in the Operational Excellence Programme, Disciplinary and Grievance training, PMP Promise training, whilst also cross-training between departments in the office and on sites.

July 2019 - Present:
I am now working full time and have been involved in implementing new recruitment processes across the business.”
