Ocado entered into a partnership with PMP Recruitment for temporary recruitment of personal shoppers in 2012. As a result of their success and our strong working relationship, we decided to trial their recruitment services for permanent CSTM (driver) positions in 2014.
Initially we had an urgent demand for additional part time CSTM’s for our Wimbledon spoke. Emma and her team worked intensively to proactively attract high quality candidates. Their first stage telephone and face to face interviewing resulted in a more efficient final staff process. They improved the interview driving assessment stage, so our interviewing managers time was spent more efficiently.
After the successful trial, we rolled our PMP to assist with our spokes; both new spoken and those that we traditionally struggled with CSTM Recruitment. Our demands of PMP sometimes included aggressive timescales and very high volumes.
